Angel Snow Light (Kagawa Prefecture)

Meaning: passion, rebirth, talisman

Called the Granite diamond, this granite is said to be “The world's most expensive stone”. It looks like a scene in which seems “The light blessing from the angel” were descending like snow. The stone mainly consists of quartz, feldspar and biotite.

The fine grains of biotite the most distinctive component, sparkles mysteriously as thought they were floating on the surface. This is one of the charming points of this stone.

Granite is so hard and solid that its shape is likely to “maintain the original shape forever” that this stone meaning become “longevity” and “prosperity forever”

This sample of granite was collected from the spot where Kobo Daishi Kurai and Abeno Seimei were probably born.
